You might want to attend the Juneteenth Celebration at the Galesburg Public Library 12-3 p.m. and this evening. This is the day the Texas slaves learned that they were free ... two yrs after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation freeing all slaves. What JOY.

July 17 (3rd Wed) 11:30 am Church Women United will return to First Church of God Office entrance 1080 Harrison Street to learn why "We are a Candle."  Feel free to join them and bring a friend.
