The Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual Local Elected Official Luncheon on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Lake Storey Pavilion from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
“This annual event gives our community an opportunity to ask questions to our local leadership
during a moderated panel discussion. Anyone can submit questions for consideration ahead of
the event by emailing chamber@galesburg.org and including “Submission” in the subject line,”
shares Pam Gaither, executive director at the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
Community partners can also expect a catered lunch followed by roundtable discussions for
one-on-one conversations. Panelists include City of Galesburg Mayor Peter Schwartzman, Knox
County Board Chair Jared Hawkinson, and new Galesburg CUSD #205 Board President
Courtney Rodriguez.
“Panelists will have an allotment of time to provide an update from their office and to share any
future plans. We look forward to hosting this luncheon for the Galesburg area,” adds Gaither.
