Illinois Regional College Fair to Be Held in Macomb Sept. 16

Local high school students and prospective transfer students are invited to attend the Illinois Regional College Fair from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16 in Macomb. The event will be held at the Donald J. Spencer Student Recreation Center, located on the north edge of the Western Illinois University campus. Parking is available in the adjacent Q-Lot, 1001 W University Dr, Macomb, IL 61455.


The fair will feature more than 40 colleges and universities, allowing students to explore various academic programs and campus environments. Representatives from both in-state and out-of-state institutions will be present to answer questions and provide information. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) will also have representatives available to assist with inquiries related to the college search process, financial aid, and scholarships.


Participating institutions include Augustana College, Blackburn College, Bradley University, Carl Sandburg College, Coe College, Culver-Stockton College, Eastern Illinois University, Eureka College, Graham Hospital School of Nursing, Greenville University, Hannibal LaGrange University, Illinois College, Illinois College - Nursing, Illinois State University, Illinois Student Assistance Commission, Illinois Wesleyan University, Iowa State University, Knox College, Lewis University, McKendree University, Methodist College of Unity Point Health, Millikin University, Missouri University of Science and Technology, Monmouth College, Morrison Tech, Murray State University, National University of Health Sciences, Northern Illinois University, Principia College, Quincy University, Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Truman State University, U.S. Naval Academy, University of Illinois Chicago, University of Illinois Springfield, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Missouri-St. Louis, University of Nebraska at Omaha, University of Northern Iowa, University of Notre Dame and WIU.


Pre-registration for the event is encouraged. Students can register at Strive Fair to receive a unique barcode, which college representatives can scan for information.


This event allows students and their families to plan their future educational endeavors.
