MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa - The Prairie Fire men's golf team placed first at Iowa Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon.
Knox shot a 298 on the day to win by seven strokes.
Brendan Wise earned medalist honors with a score of 70. Patrick Mattar was runner-up, carding a 73. Harrison Philips also tied for fifth place with 75 strokes.
"It was great to see a bounce back from this weekend," said head coach KC Harding. "It was another cold day with high winds, but they found a way to get the job done. Brendan played solid today with a 33 on the back nine, which was playing as the harder nine. I am hopeful that we can use this momentum going forward this weekend at Monmouth."
The Prairie Fire will be back in action when they travel to Monmouth on April 2 and 3.
