LEJA and Harper College Create New Pathway Program

The Western Illinois University Law Enforcement and Justice Administration (LEJA) program is partnering with Harper College to establish a new pathway program.

Students who complete an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Criminal Justice at Harper College will have a seamless transition of credit transfer to pursue a bachelor’s degree at WIU. Harper's Criminal Justice program is aligned with WIU's curriculum and, upon transferring, students will have the flexibility to complete their degree either on campus or online.

This collaboration simplifies the transfer process and provides students with accessible options to achieve their educational goals.

"A well-designed transfer pathway like this one with Harper allows students to build on their hard-earned associate degree, opening doors to advanced education and greater opportunities,” Kassie Daly, WIU associate director of admissions and director of transfer services, said.
