Local favorites, Old Dogs New Tricks, will once again take The Orpheum Stage, performing a
benefit concert for The Orpheum on August 18th at 2 p.m. These incredible artists, all with
decades of musical experience under their belts, came together from different musical projects
and bands to create Old Dogs New Tricks, a band dedicated to Old-Time Rock ‘n’ Roll, and
bringing communities together. Hailing from Galesburg, Coal Valley, Lewiston, Abingdon, Avon,
and Bushnell, these “old dogs” bring a lot of communities together for good-times and music, all
over Western Illinois.
Band members Chip Laub (keyboard), Reuel Owen (bass guitar), Lynn Keime (guitar), Paul
Hamilton (keyboard, guitar & vocals), Gary Morgan (keyboard, guitar & vocals), Harry Bulkeley
(guitar & vocals), Bob Miller (drums), and Bobby Dillard (lead vocalist) love classic rock music
and old-time hits. They are generously bringing their show to The Orpheum as a benefit, and
100% of ticket proceeds will go to preservation and programing at The Orpheum Theatre! Enjoy
their music, and support community arts at the same time, August 18th at 2 p.m. at The
Orpheum Theatre.
In lieu of an admission, the cost to attend is a $10 per person minimum donation. Advance
purchase highly recommended. Tickets available at www.galesburgorpheum.org, or by calling
(309)-342-2299. The Orpheum Theatre is located at 57 South Kellogg Street in Downtown
Galesburg, with office hours Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. More information on
