ORPHEUM THEATRE BOARD GAINS THREE NEW MEMBERS

The Orpheum Theatre is happy to announce that the Board of Directors has named three new members this month: Carol Maloney, Tom McIntire, and Tony Oligney-Estill.

Carol Maloney is a developmental disabilities parent advocate, a member of the Turnout committee of the Galesburg Community Foundation, serves on the board of the Knox County Mental Health (708) Board, and is a long time member, board member, and former president of Choral Dynamics of Galesburg. Carol believes that volunteering honors the people and the community in which we live.

Tom McIntire works at F&M Bank as a Vice-President, Trust Officer. He is a member of the State Bar of Illinois, the U.S. District Court of Illinois (Central District) and U.S. Court of Appeals (7th Circuit). Tom also holds a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Banking Association. He has been active with the Galesburg Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity and the Knox-Galesburg Symphony prior to coming aboard with the Orpheum.

Tony Oligney-Estill is the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Galesburg. He has been a board participant with organizations like the Galesburg Lion's Club and Camp Kidz. Prior to arriving in Galesburg, Tony spent seventeen years working for the Champaign Park District holding positions from Youth Sports Coordinator to Special Events Manager to Director of Champaign-Urbana Special Recreation. Tony's interests in the arts stems from his soon to be high school daughter's involvement in the performing arts ranging from playing musical instruments, singing and acting. “We are so excited to add these three wonderful public servants to the Board of Directors,” says Erin Glasnovich, Executive Director of The Orpheum Theatre. “Tony, Tom, and Carol each bring a wealth of experience and unique perspectives to the organization. I’m excited to work with them all and to have them further enrich the theatre’s mission and to continue pushing The Orpheum Theatre forward.” The Orpheum Theatre is located at 57 S. Kellogg Street in Downtown Galesburg. Any questions can be directed to The Orpheum Theatre at 309.342.2299 or info@theorpheum.org.
