The Knox County Clerk’s office has just announced the dates and
locations for the pre-sale of Knox County Side By Side and Non-Highway Vehicle
stickers. Residents can pre-purchase their required stickers on the following days and
times:
January 14, 2023 – 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM – Sparta Township Hall, Wataga
1:00 PM till 3:00 PM – Liquor Box, Oneida
January 21, 2023 – 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM – Oak Run Clubhouse, Dahinda
1:00 PM till 3:00 PM – Abingdon American Legion
The Knox County Board approved in October an ordinance to allow non-highway
vehicles to operate on roads under the County jurisdiction and require this sticker for
registration. “We are excited to help provide a much-needed service to our side by side
and non-highway vehicle enthusiasts and encourage persons to pre-register their
equipment at these events.” stated Knox County Clerk Scott Erickson. The licenses are
good for one year and cost $100. The stickers can also be purchased at the Knox
County Courthouse in the County Clerk’s office during regular business hours. For
