Putnam Fair Concert Announcment

The Marshall-Putnam County Fair Board is thrilled to announce the lineup for the 2025 Marshall-Putnam Fair! Country music artist Randy Houser will headline the concert. Houser, known for his unique voice described by The New York Times as "wholly different, thicker and more throbbing, a caldron bubbling over," has achieved over a billion streams and numerous hits. His album How Country Feels topped the charts, featuring popular tracks such as "Runnin’ Outta Moonlight" and "Goodnight Kiss," the latter being his first No. 1 as a songwriter. He also earned critical acclaim with the Top 5 smash hit and CMA Song of the Year nominee, "Like A Cowboy." Additionally, Houser secured a fourth No. 1 single with "We Went" from his 2016 album, Fired Up. His latest studio album, Note To Self, is available now through Magnolia Music Group and includes 10 tracks all co-written by the Mississippi native. The lead single, also titled "Note To Self," marks his "powerful return" following the critically acclaimed 2019 album Magnolia. MusicRow praised him, stating that Houser "remains one of country music’s very finest vocalists."

Opening for Houser will be Timothy Wayne, who recently signed his first major record deal with Universal Music Group's Capitol Records Nashville. Wayne has already released two tracks: "Guy With a Guitar" and "God Made a Country Boy." Local favorite Brody Vancil will perform prior to Timothy Wayne.

The concert will take place at the Marshall-Putnam Fairgrounds in Henry, Illinois. Gates open at 5:30 PM, and the show starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased at www.marshallputnamfair.org.
