Veterans Day Parade

This years parade is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov 7th. The parade will follow the usual parade route: start at the intersection of Main Street and Chambers Street, turn onto Cherry Street, and end at the court house.

Three different marching bands will be participating in the parade this year (GHS, ROWVA and Costa). The VFW, American Legion, and Amvets organizations will be represented along with a full color guard. Leading will be the Grand Marshall, Larry Mattson who is an Air Force veteran from Vietnam. Both local Army National Guard units, Charlie Battery 2/123rd Field Artillery and the 444th Chemical Co, will be present with soldiers, trucks, Strykers and 155mm howitzers.

Line up begins at 1 PM with the parade beginning promptly at 2PM.
