It’s spring and that means warmer weather is just around the corner. For Galesburg one of the signs of spring is Kastle Kreme opening up again!

Kastle Kreme opened 11 a.m. March 26, 2021.The hours they’ll be open over the summer will vary, but for right now they are open 11:00 - 8:00 pm. As the weather gets warmer and the days longer, they will be open later.

Kris and Darren Davis bought Kastle Kreme from Jerry Knowles.

“I look up to Knowles. He owned Kastle Kreme for over 30 years. He often stops in to say “hi” and tells us stories from the past. Each time he stops we learn something new, which helps us better serve our customers. He truly loved the business and we are grateful for the support he shows.” Kris Davis stated.

Currently Kastle Kreme offers daily food specials Monday through Thursday and their tenderloin shake special everyday. Kastle Kreme’s specialty items are flurries, upside down banana split, frozen bananas, and chocolate chip cookie sandwiches.

“Something that we offer that people might not be aware of is our Dole Whip ice cream! This is a non-dairy soft serve that is also vegan friendly. Our main flavor is orange, but Dole offers several other flavors and we try to switch it up several times throughout the season.” Kris Davis explained.

Overall Kris Davis would like the Galesburg community to know, “Come and see us! We’re open! Thank you for your support.”
