The Monmouth College women's soccer team fell 7-0 at Lake Forest on October 19. The Scots (3-8-3, 1-3-1) gave up five goals in the first half in the conference loss.
Lake Forest scored the opening goal in the 19th minute and made it 2-0 in the 27th minute. They scored three goals in nine minutes to lead 5-0 at the break.
The Foresters scored twice in the second half with a goal in the 55th minute and the final goal in the 69th minute.
Danielle Beach (Geneseo, Illinois) had Monmouth's lone shot on goal while Mariah Hobson (Princeton, Illinois) took a shot. Anna Caster (Greenfield, Indiana) made 12 saves as Lake Forest took 33 shots, 19 on goal.
