The Monmouth College women's soccer team played a 0-0 draw at Coe College on September 14. The Scots (2-2-2) denied the Kohawks on a penalty kick in the 56th minute and neither team found the winner down the stretch.
Monmouth goalkeeper Anna Caster (Greenfield, Indiana) made seven saves in the contest and denied the Coe penalty kick early in the second half. Monmouth put three shots on goal in the game, with two coming from Danielle Beach (Geneseo, Illinois). Freshman Taylor Freeman (Washington, Illinois) had Monmouth's other shot on goal.
